An Open, Accessible Truck Design

September 8, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

The Farm On Wheels team has been working on a number of fronts over the past several months to bring our unique concept closer to launch.

A talented team has been sketching preliminary designs for the truck and looking at ways to make it an enticing, interactive experience for the customer. Our desire is for an open storefront, in which items are accessible from the street level.

Design concept: an open, accessible storefront for truck customers.

To this end, we envision a set of sliding display shelves that can be pivoted outward, for maximum visibility and convenience. The truck would also be outfitted with a bicycle for local deliveries and rooftop solar panels, reflecting our commitment to incorporate sustainability into the business’s day-to-day operations.
